Colonel Randy Tifft has over 32 years Corrections and Law Enforcement experience and holds dual certifications in Corrections and Law Enforcement. He has over 30 years Supervisory experience in numerous capacities from Officer through the ranks to Regional Director of the Florida Department of Corrections.
Colonel Tifft has a vast knowledge and experience in strategic leadership, tactical operations, programming, investigations, emergency management, fiscal management, strategic planning, human resource development and staffing analysis.
Colonel Tifft is a certified Instructor with the Florida Department of Law Enforcement holding over 75 certifications. Colonel Tifft is a graduate of the National Training Institute, “Management Development for the Future”, “Senior Leadership Program”, “Executive Leadership Programs” and Certified Staffing Analysis auditor.
Colonel Tifft is very active in community programs and organizations and a member of the Florida Deputy Sheriff’s Association and Florida Sheriff’s Association serves on the Executive Board of Directors for the Santa Rosa Kids House. He also is a board member for the First Judicial Circuit Law Enforcement Association, Inc.
Colonel Tifft maintains an open-door policy and makes himself available to employees and Citizens of Santa Rosa County.
