Assistant Chief Tucker has served the citizens of Santa Rosa County as a deputy since 1999. During that time he has had a wide variety of assignments to include: Patrol, SWAT, Major Crimes Investigations, Narcotics Investigations, and Internal Affairs. Chief Tucker has served as the Captain of both the Investigations and Patrol Divisions as well as the Department of Law Enforcement Major.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Religion and a Master’s degree in Criminal Justice. He is a graduate of the FBI National Academy as well as the Florida Criminal Justice Executive Institute’s Senior Leadership Program and the Chief Executive Seminar.
He is a veteran of the United States Air Force where he proudly served as a Law Enforcement Specialist.
Assistant Chief Tucker maintains an Open Door policy and makes himself available to employees and the Citizens of Santa Rosa County.
